I've been admiring daylilies this week, blooming now in the museum garden.
They had a tough spring --- too dry.
And that affected some of the varieties.
But they're doing well and will bloom for another week or so.
A couple of clumps are not thriving and need attention.
And at least one clump, overtaken by a shrub, needs to be moved entirely.
If we can remember where it is, come early spring.
There's always hope in a garden ....
