Spring is bustin' out all over

I noticed last evening that redbuds on the museum campus are just about ready to burst forth, so assume that we're only a few days away from the big show at Red Haw State Park, too.

For the time being, the attention grabbers are daffodils and early tulips.

I counted four varieties of daffodil yesterday.

Two slightly different varieties of these multi-colored ones.

As well as the prolific very early variety, still blooming because the weather has been cool.

And then there are these double blossoms.

Finally, a few early tulips --- including these pinkish ones.

A few days of rain are predicted for midweek, so enjoy today's sunshine while you can.
