buying a book in Iowa, banned or otherwise

It's been suggested --- by me among many others --- than an appropriate way to observe Banned Book Week, Oct. 1-7, is to read one. 

That most likely will involve a purchase and it may be necessary to rely upon Amazon. 

But Iowa Starting Line late last week published the results of an interesting little non-scientific study, a quick and non-comprehensive survey of the independent bookstore scene in the Hawkeye State.
