Everyone's invited to attend our free ice cream social this Thursday evening at the Lucas County Historical Society Museum, 123 North 17th Street, in Chariton.
All buildings on the campus will open for tours at 5:30 p.m. Beginning at 6 p.m., we'll serve ice cream provided by Double Dip on the patio (popcorn will be available throughout).
Then at 7 p.m., the bluegrass ensemble Singing Mesa Jam-ble will perform, also on the patio.
It should be a relaxing (and cost-free) way to spend an evening. Hope to see you then!
