Lots of folks I've no interest in are trending this week on social media, including Harry and Meghan (aka the Duke and Duchess of Suffolk) and Elon Musk, by some accounts the richest person in the world.
But Brenda Blethyn and her fictional Detective Chief Inspector Vera Stanhope --- that's another story.
So I was surprised and gratified to discover that I'd watched only four of the six episodes of the most recent series, No. 11. I can't explain the oversight.
The discovery's led to binge watching --- and that explains why there's nothing useful, entertaining or annoying here this morning.
And the best news of all --- Series 12 is being filmed as we speak. (I watch Vera on BritBox.)
