"Pieces of Her" --- Pieces of My Time

So I've been thinking of cancelling my Netflix subscription. In the first place, the fee is going up. In the second, when I watch something of an evening it's more often on Amazon Prime.

So I pulled Netflix up last night, clicked on a film entitled "Pieces of Her" and four hours later discovered that I'd binge-watched four episodes.

That's why there's nothing insightful, entertaining or history-related here this morning. Pretty frightening stuff --- not the film (although it's scary), the binge-watching. Doing the dishes had been in my evening agenda, too.

The tale involves a mother in a witness protection program and what (fictionally) happens to herself and her adult daughter when a brief moment of very public heroism lands them in the public eye.

Experience tells me that I can walk away from something like this without watching the rest, if needs be, but that's unlikely to happen. The film, yea I suppose I'd recommend it. Netflix --- haven't decided yet.
