Is this the Chariton High School class of 1960?

Just a photograph this morning --- one that I'm looking for information about. I'm reasonably sure that this is the Chariton High School Class of 1960, gathered for a reunion, but would appreciate confirmation of that (or correction if I'm wrong). Also, would anyone out there be interested in identifying the subjects (if so, please comment)?

This was among the belongings of Ed Dawson, a member of that class who died at age 50 during 1993, survived by his mother, Genevieve (1919-2007), and his partner, Cliff Jensen. He is buried in the Chariton Cemetery.

Now Cliff has died and his ashes have been sent by his sister for burial in the Chariton Cemetery, too. She also sent --- to City Hall for transfer to the historical society --- a small box of photographs and other memorabilia related to Ed and his mother. (Thanks to Avis for serving as go-between.)

I'll be sorting through this box now, getting its contents ready to archive, and having this photograph identified would help!
