More creativity during perilous times ...

I wrote the other day about the flourishing of creativity in these peculiar times of isolation --- and three musical examples popped into my YouTube "subscriptions" queue yesterday --- two as tributes to healthcare and other essential workers, the other just for fun.

Here's the first, a "virtual chorus" performance by the San Francisco Gay Men's Chorus (above) of "Truly Brave," a mash-up of Cyndi Lauper's "True Colors" and Sara Bareilles' "Brave."

The second, also by a virtual ensemble, is an original instrumental composition by Skerryvore, a Scottish celtic rock band that I like, performed to honor Britain's National Health Service workers.

And the third, just for fun, a parody of "I Dreamed a Dream" from "Les Miserables" performed by young Nick while riding down the road with his mother in an installment of Sutton Shenanigans. I enjoyed all three and thought you might, too.
