Thanks to all who attended, organized and conducted the Lucas County Historical Society's annual ice cream social Thursday evening. But especially to Cindy Reyes, whose beautiful music filled the patio, and to the hard-working board members who make our events possible.
It was a perfect summer evening --- and a relaxing way to end the day.
This was our final public event of the summer season, but keep your eyes open for announcements concerning our October event that, if all goes according to plan, will have a Halloween theme and will be designed for youngsters of all ages.
The museum campus will be open through Oct. 31 this year, regularly from 1 to 4 p.m. Tuesday through Friday and on weekends and at other times by appointment. Admission is free.

Frank - thanks again for opening up for us on a Saturday and for the great tour. We all appreciated your time and expertise, and our girls had a blast:)
