"Art at the Museum" is this Saturday!

So we've been wishing for moderate rainfall --- after a dry June followed a spring that was very wet indeed. And our wishes have been fulfilled overnight and this morning.

Now if we can just have a dry Saturday as part of the deal .... (The forecast is modestly promising, so far).

As many already know, the Lucas County Historical Society will be hosting "Art at the Museum 2" on Saturday, June 22, on the museum campus. More than 30 artists and performers are expected for the show and sale. There will be live music during the day and food vendors will be operating on the grounds. Hours will be 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. and admission will be free.

The event will go on rain or shine, but of course we'd prefer "shine."

Anyhow, we hope that as many as possible will turn out for the event, presented in cooperation with members of the Lucas County Arts Council. It should be lots of fun and a lot of people have worked very hard to pull it off.

Hope to see you then!
