I'm sure it was just an oversight on the part of the media, fixated in this summer of our discontent on deranged tweets, but the results of the World Choir Games, held this year July 4-14 in Tshwane, South Africa, were under-reported.
Sponsored by the Interkultur Foundation and based on the thought that "singing together brings nations together," the games have been held every two years since 2000. The 2012 games were held in Cincinnati; the 2020 games will be held in Belgium.
This year, the games had a new anthem --- composed by Britain's John Rutter. Here, on a Sunday morning, is a preview version of the anthem which, of course, was performed live in Tishwane. Happy Sunday!

When I saw the title, I thought of the Wailin' Jennys performance of Ruth Moody's song of the same name and similar theme. I like it better.
