As it happens, in one of those twists and turns families take, my first-cousin, Linda, is married to Randy, whose aunt, Ellen Muriel (Deason) Wright, died on Monday at 92. Some might know her better as Miss Kitty Wells, the queen of country music. So condolences on the passing of a great lady. I'm looking for my "greatest hits" CD. In the meantime, here's the song that sort of started it all, way back in 1952, although she started performing with her sisters, including Randy's mom, as the Deason Sisters even father back, in 1936.
