Butterfly morning

I didn't set out to plant a butterfly garden, but the advantage to having flower beds sometimes referred to as the revenge of the purple coneflowers is, de facto, butterflies. Here's a monarch from this morning, which dawned clear and beautiful here in the southern hills.

Got so excited about photo prospects I drained the battery pack. Now where do you suppose I put it the last time I charged batteries?

Added this morning to the Lucas County Historical Society blog, The Zetamathians. Go there by clicking here.
