Spending Hallowe'en with Arthur Dark

I've written before about my fondness for Arthur Dark's vlog, "Hollywood Graveyard," perhaps the most sophisticated (and witty) entry in a field that might be called virtual tombstone tourism. That's Arthur's photo, above, lifted from the online version of a trade publication called, appropriately enough, "American Cemetery & Cremation."

Mr. Dark, who has been posting from his base in the Los Angeles area since 2017, specializes in celebrity graves, nearly all related in one way or another to the entertainment industry. But he's not limited himself to California, has roamed across the country now and then and is recently returned from Europe.

This week, he posted in honor of Hallowe'en "Strange and Unusual Tales from Hollywood Graveyard" (Volume 1). I enjoyed it and thought you-all might, too.
