February seems to be getting away from us, what with one thing and another. But it is national Black History Month, too, both in the United States and Canada (The UK and other nations observe a similar period of reflection and remembrance in October).
I liked this compilation of quotes that turned up in my social media feed this morning.
My favorite is tucked in the lower left hand corner, taken from Booker T. Washington's 1909 "The Story of My Life and Work."
"If you want to lift yourself up, lift up someone else." That's a good thought to carry through the day and beyond.
