The late Virginia Mart (1920-2000), of Derby and later Humeston, passed these two unidentified photographs on to the Lucas County Historical Society during 1986, part of a small collection of Derby-area ephemera.
Had she known who they were, she'd have identified them. But she didn't, so we archive them with other Derby-related material, hoping someone comes along sometime who recognizes a familiar face. If that's you, leave a comment.
The wedding portrait, a cabinet card in near-pristine condition, was taken at Chloe A. Bolon's studio in Humeston.
The snapshot-size family portrait had been mounted in an album at some point, then carefully removed.
