The first of many show-piece varieties of lily emerged over the weekend in the museum gardens, just in time to entertain arts festival guests. And while the guests, the artists (and the porta potties) now have departed --- flowers remain to brighten the days.
There are ornamental alliums.
And varieties of old-fashioned perennial sweet pea.
Butterfly milkweed.
Early day lilies.
Hollyhocks.
And bumblebees among the lavender.
