The Rev. Suzanne Williams Palmer passed from this life into life eternal on Saturday, August 3rd, 2013, after a fall earlier that day. Sue has been a treasured member of the community and church sharing her wit and wisdom as a career educator and as a deacon then priest in the Episcopal Diocese of Iowa since 1995, serving most recently as vicar of Grace Episcopal Church, Albia, and St. Andrew's Episcopal Church, Chariton.

A memorial service celebrating her life will be held this Thursday, August 8th, at 11 a.m. at Trinity United Methodist Church, 1117 Benton Avenue E, in Albia, Iowa. Bishop Alan Scarfe, of the Episcopal Diocese of Iowa, will serve as officiant. Visitation with the family will be prior to the service from 9 to 11 that morning.
Condolences may also be sent to the family in care of Sue's husband Mr. John Palmer, 234 N. 11th Street, Albia IA 52531-2910.
May God give rest with the saints in light to this beloved servant, Suzanne, and peace and comfort to her family and all who yet hold her dear. In Christ's name we pray, Amen
